Made with 💕 in New York City
I was born and raised in New York City in the early 90's East Village & Lower East Side neighborhoods -- think Basquiat, streetwear, and punk rock.
Work ethic and self-discipline are very important to me and I believe a balanced life is a choice, not a result or circumstance.
I'm straight-forward, patient, and honest. Above all, I value respect, diversity, and inclusion.
Entrepreneurial thought and action drive me. I love learning about problems, building solutions and iterating fast while testing products with real customers.
I've honed my strategic and operational skills by managing multi-million-dollar advertising accounts and launching innovative marketing campaigns that resonated with hundreds of millions of users online.
I've had the honor to work with startups and major brands like Kay Jewelers, Zales, Jared, Dream Water, Cleancult, Univera, MSCHF, Backbone, MrBeast, and more.
The impact of scale is important in both advertising and technology so transitioning into software engineering was a natural progression for me.
I completed a rigorous Full Stack Web Developer program at App Academy where I deepened my knowledge in programming languages like JavaScript, Ruby, SQL, HTML & CSS and frameworks like React.js, Next.js, MongoDB, PostgresQL, and Ruby on Rails.
I've applied these skills to develop full-stack projects like Pacer, a social platform for connecting runners and athletes, and Motify, a pixel-perfect clone of Spotify.
As a Fullstack Software Engineer with a rich background in marketing and entrepreneurship, I bring a unique blend of technical prowess, creative problem-solving, and leadership to the table. This perspective allows me to build software solutions that are not only technically sound but also commercially viable and user-friendly.
I am constantly seeking new challenges and opportunities to grow. Let's connect if you're interested in discussing technology, business strategies, or potential collaborations in the tech, media, art, or eCommerce industries.
P.S. A few fun facts:
- My first business was a clothing brand and art collective. It taught me a lot about culture, community, and branding.
- I'd consider myself more of a "creative" than an artist or product designer, but I've been known to undersell my skills with Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, paint markers, film cameras, and a tattoo machine or two.
- I have two elderly Shiba Inu's named Bentley & Tesla.
